Markham Cart Form

Each Markham household has been provided with a garbage cart at no additional charge. If your location does not have a wheeled garbage cart please call 708-798-1004. Markham residents can rent additional wheeled garbage carts and yard waste carts using this form.

CART SELECTION*
- GARBAGE CART - Rent an additional 95-gallon garbage cart annually for $36.00.
- YARD WASTE CART - Rent a wheeled 95-gallon yard waste cart. The cart and weekly yard waste pick up service is $246.00 annually.
Yard waste carts are billed in two installments in February and May. Cart delivery and service will begin when payment is received. We will contact you for payment. Yard waste service is provided April - November. Stickers are not needed for any yard waste placed inside the cart. Your new cart(s) will be delivered to your home within the two weeks of payment.

Your garbage service bill will continue to arrive through the Village of Markham. But, you will be billed separately by Homewood Disposal for your additional garbage cart or yard waste cart. How would you like to be billed for your additional cart(s)?

Lessee assumes the responsibility to occasionally clean the cart when needed. Cart is only to be used at the service address of lessee. Unauthorized use of the cart will result in removal of cart by Homewood Disposal. Lessee will hold Homewood Disposal harmless of any incidents as a result of cart usage. Carts may become heavy during use and are to be used and handled by adults only. Lessee is responsible for theft, loss or damage to cart beyond normal uses. Lessee will notify Homewood Disposal to remove cart if it is no longer needed. ALL PAYMENT DUE FOR THE CART MUST BE PAID IN FULL WITHIN 30 DAYS OF RECEIVING INVOICE. Lessee agrees to prompt and full payment for use of cart according to the terms, conditions, and schedules which Homewood Disposal has established. Lessee is responsible for replacement cost of equipment and collection costs of amounts due if lessee does not maintain the obligations above. *This contract will be renewed annually unless notification to terminate is given. Lessee agreement is for a one year time period.
