Who is included in the program?
Single family households located in unincorporated Lockport Township.
Must I use Homewood Disposal Service?
Yes, with the passing of the referendum, Lockport Township residents are required by ordinance to use Homewood Disposal. Residents may not cancel service and are required to have weekly collection per ordinance.
How do I sign up for service?
Current residents are automatically included. New residents must contact Homewood Disposal to set up service. Residents who would like yard waste service can sign up online or call customer service at 708-798-1004.
Is there a senior discount?
Yes, Township residents 65 and older who verify they are the owner are eligible for a $2.00 per month discount to the collection rate. Please contact the township offices to apply for your discount.
When is my collection day?
Please refer to map above to view your service area and day of collection. You can also download a collection day map by clicking here. Refuse, Recycling and yard waste will be collected on the same day. Please have all material at the curb the night before or by 6 a.m. on your pick up day.
