Request Your Electronic Waste Pick Up

As of 2012, the Illinois Electronic Products Recycling and Reuse Act banned many electronics from landfills as these products contain hazardous material. Homewood Disposal, and all waste haulers, are no longer able to accept many electronics in residential curbside waste programs. As a service to our customers, Homewood Disposal’s additional electronic pick up service ensures e-waste is recycled separately and safely.

Current residential customers can schedule a pick up on this page.

No. Electronic recycling is a scheduled service with a separate special truck. Electronics left at the curb without scheduling will not be removed.

No worries. Electronic recycling pick up service is completed by a different smaller truck to ensure proper recycling, not your regular garbage or recycling driver. We’ll be there soon.

The e-waste pick up charge is $35.00. This charge includes all e-waste collected with the exception of TV’s and monitors. After requesting a pick up, we’ll contact you for payment details if required.

Televisions and monitors are an additional $35.00 for each item. After requesting a pick up, we’ll contact you for payment details if required.
