Homewood Disposal Internship – Not Just a Summer Job

College students and employers often lump internships into two categories:  Internship Type 1:  A Valuable Career Preparing Internship  Internship Type 2:  A Summer Job, Posing as an Internship

Good internships are structured to allow a college students to grow their talents while immersed in the company’s culture. The result of these “good internships” is not just work completed at the company, but a student who has developed insight and skills within their field. Homewood Disposal worked hard to meet this higher internship standard this summer. With our talented marketing and sales interns, Lizzy Morrissey, Austin VanderVelde, and Alex Clark, it was an easy task.
