Stationary Compactors
What is a Stationary Compactor?
A stationary compactor is an industrial waste solution designed to compress large volumes of dry waste materials such as cardboard, paper, and plastic. By condensing these materials into a more manageable form, stationary compactors reduce waste volume and improve overall efficiency. These units feature large receiver containers that can hold substantial amounts of waste. Our stationary compactor receivers are available in 30 yards and 42 yards.
There’s a wide range of uses for stationary compactors. The most common users are businesses that generate a high volume of dry waste materials. This could be retail stores, strip malls, manufacturing plants, warehouses, distribution centers or schools.
How does a stationary waste compactor work? The compactor unit, fitted with a hydraulic compression ram, stays permanently mounted at your location. That’s why it’s called stationary, the compactor does not move. The receiver box is removed and emptied. Waste is compacted into this detachable container, and when it’s full, our team swaps it out without disrupting your operations.
Who Needs a Stationary Compactor?
How Does a Stationary Compactor Work?
A stationary compactor uses a powerful hydraulic arm to push trash from the loading area into a large receiver box. The compactor stays in place, and when the container is full, only that part is hauled away and swapped out.
Homewood Disposal can provide the installation the compactor, the receiver box, and the waste disposal service. We can also provide just the receiver box, or just the hauling and disposal aspect.
