Homewood Disposal started in 1956 serving just the towns of Homewood and Flossmoor, Illinois. Over the decades, we’ve expanded and we now provide residential, commercial, and industrial waste services in over 80 local communities throughout Chicagoland and NW Indiana.

Other local companies joined us, including Nuway Disposal, Star Disposal and Kankakee Disposal. You may still see those names on waste containers in the area. No matter which of our names you recognize, we operate under the same loyalty, integrity, and the same trusted teal color.

“Our driver is amazing and always goes above and beyond. Happened to be looking out the window, and saw him get out of his truck to move the neighbor’s cans away from a car so he can dump them. He also picked up loose garbage that was scattered on the ground.”
