Request a Bulk Waste Pick Up

Do you have a large item that won’t fit in your cart? Yes, we’ll take it. Removal of one bulk item or appliance each week is included with your residential service.* Please place your item at the curb on your regular collection day. The large item will be disposed of by your driver, or by a separate bulk waste truck on your collection day.

Do I need to request a pick up?
Please contact us in advance for all large appliances and for items too large for one person to lift. You can also let us know about other bulk items, we always appreciate a heads up. Fill out the form below or call 708-798-1004 from 8am – 5pm to request a bulk pick up.

*Grundy County residents and some residents in unincorporated areas may receive a charge for bulk pick up. Please call our office for details.

Hot tubs can be cut or broken down into smaller pieces and placed out with your regular pick up. Each piece must weigh no more than 50 pounds. If that is not an option, whole hot tubs can be placed out on your regular day after contacting our office. Whole hot tubs may bear an additional charge depending on your location.

Basketball hoops are included in your weekly bulk item pick up service. The poles on basketball hoops should be cut into 4 to 5-foot lengths. Portable hoops should have the sand or water removed from the base, while the concrete bases for permanent hoops should be broken into 50-pound pieces. If breaking down the hoop is not an option, a whole set can be placed out on your regular garbage day after contacting our office. There may be an additional charge for whole sets depending on your location.
