Our 10 yard dumpster interior dimensions measure 17 feet long, 7 feet wide and 2 feet high. Although the exact measurements may vary slightly based on manufacturer, the capacity and volume of the 10 yard dumpster rental will be the same.
When you rent a 10 yard dumpster, the rental includes the disposal of 3 tons (6,000 pounds) of material. It’s a lot of weight and it’s very rare that customers surpass 3 tons of material within their dumpster. Again, we do not charge extra for any weight under 3 tons within a 10 yard dumpster.
Here’s another way to think about it, a 10 yard dumpster can hold the same amount of material as about 3 pickup trucks. That’s about 50-70 33-gallon trash bags. Concrete, dirt, brick, countertops and all other general waste are accepted in the 10 yard dumpster. Hazardous waste are not accepted within our 10 yard dumpsters.
