Job Summary
As a Construction Sales Representative at Homewood Disposal, you will be joining a family-owned company that has been in business since 1956. During that time, Homewood Disposal has continued building its business on the values of founder Wendell (Wendy) E. Yonker. His loyalty and integrity inspire our ongoing commitment to provide, “The kind of service others only promise.”
This position is vital in communicating the company’s image of professionalism and excellence; and is crucial to our long-term success in the solid waste and recycling industry. Working as a valued member of our sales team, you will create and maintain long-term business relationships with new and existing customers.
Approximately 80% of your day will be working in the field as you travel throughout the territory, making cold calls, retention calls, visiting job sites / trailers, and following through with appointments set with potential customers. The focus of this position is to prospect, solicit, and grow our construction roll off division as well as develop new permanent garbage compactor work in the city of Chicago.
This sales position will have a hybrid sales focus between permanent compactor work and temporary roll off dumpsters at construction sites.
