When cars and trucks are in the way of the dumpster, it makes it difficult and unsafe for our drivers to retrieve your garbage. Keep your dumpsters clear and accessible for your driver, allowing safe waste management.

Make sure your driver can safely retrieve your dumpster; clear any snow that is blocking your container. To prevent your corral doors from freezing shut, apply salt on and around your container.

Items and excess junk should not be placed in front of, around, or next to your dumpster container. This will prevent your trash from being picked up. Call the Homewood Disposal team and we will be sure to pick it up quickly.

Bulky, oversized items cause difficulty for our drivers when it comes to retrieving your trash. Trucks cannot get around bulk items. This can stop your driver from picking up. If you do happen to have a bulk item that week, keep it on the side, be sure to call us with a heads up and we will be sure to pick it up with your trash on regular pick up day.

Keep the entrance clear and unblocked from any items that may prevent your driver from reaching your dumpster. This gives the doors of your corral space to open completely. Unlock your corral door if it is normally locked, allowing the driver access to your container.
