Preparing for Dumpster Delivery

Ready, Set, Deliver!

No matter how big or how small of a project you have, dumpster rental is right for any type of cleanup. Dumpster rental is simple, reliable, and safe when you are prepared for your dumpster delivery. First, find out if a permit is required for your dumpster. Be sure to contact your village prior to dumpster rental delivery. Homewood Disposal can have a dumpster at your house within a 24-hour notice.

Making Space

If you need the back door of the dumpster to open, allow at least 6 feet between the dumpster and other structures within the vicinity. The driver needs plenty of room to drop off your dumpster on the day of arrival.  Keep in mind that it takes plenty of space (width and height) for trucks to deliver and unload your dumpster.

Mindful Tip: keep the area clear from trees and wires near the drop off point.

Don’t Underestimate Your Trash!

Know what kind of waste you are planning to dump. You don’t want to overflow your dumpster with trash. Be sure to ask any questions you might have about the right size dumpster for your cleanup. The Homewood Disposal team can quickly, and efficiently, fit you for the right size dumpster based on your disposal needs. Learn more about your dumpster size options.

Additional Dumpster Preparation

To prevent driveway damage, we recommend placing wood down prior to our arrival. 2 sheets of plywood or 3 pieces of 2×6 lumber will work.

Homewood Disposal provides a 7-day dumpster rental. But don’t worry, if your project requires more time, let Homewood Disposal know you need extra time. We assure reliable and safe dumpster rental service. For a free quote, you can click here or call us at 708-798-2212.
